[NEWS RELEASE] TAMPA, FL. — February 5, 2008.   The Sweetbay Entertainment Hall at the Florida State Fair will be transformed into a Las Vegas showroom during the 2008 Fair.  GLITZ! – A Las Vegas Revue featuring glamorous showgirls, outstanding musical acts and celebrity impersonators headlines the 2008 Fair entertainment lineup.

GLITZ!, presented by Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, will be at the Fair for seven days from February 7 - 13.  The family-friendly musical was custom produced by Four Star Entertainment, Inc., whose clients include The Tropicana Casino, Lady Luck Casino and Six Flags Amusement Parks.  Fairgoers will enjoy sequined dancers, musical tributes and celebrity impersonators including Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Shania Twain, and Madonna.

“Many of the impersonators in this show have performed at some of the biggest casinos in the country and in some of the biggest shows including the world-renowned Legends in Concert,” said Bill Haggett, owner and CEO of Four Star Entertainment.  “I have been producing shows like this for over twenty years and these guys are some of the most talented I have ever worked with.”

Each show is only 45 minutes and will be fast-paced with upbeat singing and dancing. The beautiful showgirls will be dressed in colorful headdresses, huge hats, feather boas, and loaded with rhinestones and sequins appropriate for all ages. The revue is included in the price of a Fair admission ticket. Show times vary each day:
• Thurs., Feb. 7 at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
• Fri., Feb. 8 and Sat., Feb. 9 at 3, 5 and 7 p.m.
• Sun., Feb 10 through Wed., Feb. 13 at 1, 3, and 5 p.m.
