[NEWS RELEASE] TAMPA, FL. — February 5, 2008.   Circus Hollywood, hailed as "America's most dazzling circus where dreams are made", returns with much fanfare for a second year to the 2008 Florida State Fair.  Bradenton-based Circus Hollywood, led by Serge Coronas, fourth generation of circus entertainers who originated in Czechoslovakia in the 1830s, will return to the Florida State Fair for the entire 12 day engagement.

Serge, the producer and his wife, Stevana, a canine trainer, have assembled a world-class team of acrobats, daredevils, circus performers, aerialists and clowns guaranteed to entertain and thrill audiences of all ages. Serge and Stevana’s three children, award-winning performers in their own right, are also expected to perform in the dazzling family show. The Coronas' three children - Nicole, Stevie, and Crystal Corona - have won awards and international acclaim for their acts including aerial performances, the heart-stopping Globe of Death and an unusual hula-hoop act.  In addition to these acts, fairgoers will see the return of the elegant Friesian horses and the crowd-pleasing “Poodles of Paris” show.

Circus Hollywood, presented by Southern Chevy Dealers, will perform three shows Monday through Thursday at 1:30, 3:30, and 5:30 p.m.  On Friday through Sunday; Circus Hollywood will have four shows at 1:30, 3:30, 5:30, and 7:30 p.m.  Look for the giant Circus Hollywood tent near gate three in between the Livestock Area and the Charles M. Davis Special Events Center.

Also touring with Circus Hollywood are the Hollywood Racing Pigs and Giraffic Exotic Menagerie. The Hollywood Racing Pigs are competing daily at 1, 3, and 5 p.m.  These quick little piggies zip around a race track for a tasty treat.  Catch their show located near gate 3 between the mall and the central lake.  Cheer on the pig you think will win!

Giraffic Exotic Menagerie is the only traveling safari in North America also brought along by Circus Hollywood.  The animals will be showcased in their own special area next to the colorful Circus Hollywood tent near gate three.  Come visit the Giraffic Exotic Menagerie and feed the llamas, camels, giraffes and more!

Circus Hollywood, presented by Southern Chevy Dealers, has astonishing performances and is sure to bring something for everyone to enjoy at the State Fair.  Don’t forget to check it out!

All acts, concerts, scheduled times, exhibitors, prices, and other advertised events are subject to change and/or cancel without notice.  Fair gate admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children ages six to 11; and free for children five and younger.  NO RE-ENTRY is permitted without an admission ticket.  Gates open daily at 9 a.m. and parking is free during the 12 days of the Fair.
