Deep Fried Dash

Race your way through the 2020 Florida State Fair at the 1st ever Deep Fried Dash 5K & Fun Run! Race registration is $35 until February 1 st! Admission to the fair is free for all racer participants following the race.

The beginning of the racecourse takes you right through the fair’s midway, passing all the fun and exciting rides, then continues down the mall through outdoor vendors and smells of the endless fair foods. Continuing on, race participants will pass through the agriculture side of the fairgrounds by all the livestock barns and arenas and finally, the race will end right where the participants began the race at one of our entertainment stages. Participants will be able to rest and interact with vendors before a live awards ceremony.

All proceeds from the Deep Fried Dash will benefit the Florida State Fair Foundation. The mission of the Florida State Fair Foundation is to improve and support the Florida State Fair agricultural, scientific, and educational programs. The Florida State Fair Foundation is designated as a 501(C)(3).

All racers will receive a finisher’s medal for crossing the finish line and a dry-fit shirt!

Check-in and race number pickup opens at 6:00 AM. The race starts off at 7:00 AM.
