97x Next Big Thing

97X’s Next Big Thing two-day music festival is coming back this year for their 20th anniversary, and you definitely don’t want to miss it! Taking place at the Midflorida Credit Union Amphitheatre in Tampa, FL on December 3rd and 4th, they’ve got an impressive lineup of acts for those two days!

Twenty One Pilots will headline the show on December 3rd, alongside Glass Animals and Meet Me @ The Altar. On December 4th, Weezer will headline, with AJR, All Time Low, Bastille, Girl In Red, Yungblud, Mod Sun, Nessa Barrett, Girlfriends, Daisy The Great, and Upsahl filling out the day.

They will be requiring all attendees to have received a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event, or to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and present the negative test or a vaccination card at the door, with children under age 12 required to take a COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event. Mask wearing will be encouraged.

To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, we have implemented the following bag policy: we will allow clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (4.5”x 6.5”).

  • Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (4.5”x 6.5”)
  • Cameras – nonprofessional only, no detachable lenses
  • Food – in a clear, 1-gallon ziplock bag
  • Lawn Chairs – low profile (no chair back higher than 26 in. / no seat base higher than 9 in.) *subject to change per event, check the Day of Show tab 
  • Water – up to 1 gallon in a factory sealed or empty bottle
  • Panchos
Items NOT-ALLOWED to be brought in to venue include, but are not limited to:
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Alcohol
  • Illegal drugs/substances
  • Umbrellas
  • Glass containers
  • Cans
  • High profile camping/bag chairs
  • Hard sided/large coolers
  • Laser pointers
  • Animals (except service animals)
  • Fireworks.

Parking lots will generally open two hours prior to our scheduled gate time. Gate times vary but are usually 60 minutes prior to showtime. Please check the specific event page as these dates are subject to change. Oversize vehicle parking is available for $80. An oversized vehicle is considered any vehicle that requires more than one parking spot to properly park. ADA parking is available across the street from the east side main entrance for no additional charge. Please do not attempt to enter the venue any earlier than the designated times as you will be turned around and told to return when the parking lots open.
