Your Safety is Our Priority

The health and safety of our employees and guests is of paramount importance. We are continuously monitoring the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation in our state. We are in regular contact with authorities and are prepared to respond to recommendations issued by the Centers for Disease Control and the Florida Department of Health.

COVID-19 Warning

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures for you, our visitors, and our Florida State Fair staff.  You must follow all posted instructions while visiting the Florida State Fairgrounds. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death.  According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting the Florida State Fairgrounds, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. The health and safety of those who visit the Florida State Fairgrounds is our top priority.  Your support is vital to this effort.

Hand Sanitizer Stations

Increased number of hand sanitizer locations throughout showrooms for guests to utilize.

Limited Building Capacity

To encourage social distancing, building and showrooms capacity may be limited based on guidelines from Florida Authorities and the CDC.

Limited Contact

To limit contact, cashless payment options are available and encouraged.

 

Social Distancing

Guests and employees are required to practice CDC Guidelines by standing at least 6 feet away from other individuals not traveling with them while visiting the property.

Employee Health Screening

The Florida State Fairgrounds continuously screens its staff consistent with CDC protocol and guidelines to ensure a safe workplace.

Not Feeling Well?

Please stay home if you are feeling unwell, or experiencing the following symptoms – fever, cough, or shortness of breath.

Personal Protective Equipment

Face masks will be required for all employees within the buildings and showrooms. To further protect the public against the spread of COVID-19, Hillsborough County’s Emergency Policy Group (EPG) enacted an order requiring face coverings. For more information, please click here.

Increased Cleaning Protocol

Facility cleaning protocols, including bathroom maintenance and frequent public touchpoints, has been increased to ensure cleanliness and the health and safety of all guests.

Hygiene Signage

Informational signage on best hygiene practices will be posted throughout all fairgrounds facilities to encourage handwashing and sanitation.
