The Tampa Bay Mineral and Science Club is excited to present its 6th Annual Spring Gem, Mineral, and Jewelry Show, happening on Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4, at the Florida Fairgrounds Special Events Center. Please note that the fairground is closed on Sunday for Easter.
Over 50 vendors will showcase a remarkable selection of unique slabs, cabochons, beads, gemstones, jewelry, and more. Whether you’re a collector, creator, or simply love working with nature’s materials, this event is perfect for you. Highlights include a kids’ area featuring a sluice, a touch table with rock identification, scavenger hunt, a mineral ID booth and a bean bag toss with prizes for kids and adults alike.
Show hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, April 3, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 4. Admission is $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and military personnel (with ID), while kids 12 and under enter for free. Parking fee applies. Enter through the MLK entrance. This indoor, air-conditioned event offers a concession stand with lunch and refreshments, along with a conveniently located ATM.
