Announcing New Board Officers

FLORIDA STATE FAIR AUTHORITY ELECTS NEW BOARD OFFICERS

Tampa, Fla. (January 2, 2020) — The Florida State Fair Authority’s board of directors elected several of their board members to officer positions this past month. Doyle E. Carlton III, who has been on the board since 2003, remains as chairman. Eve Council Gloede was elected as Vice Chairman; Linda Syfrett was re-elected as Treasurer and John Dicks, Jr. was elected as Secretary.

 

“I extend my congratulations to the new board officers of the Florida State Fair Authority, and I’m grateful for their service in this capacity,” said Commissioner of Agriculture Nikki Fried. “Their commitment is part of what makes the Florida State Fair one of the nation’s best, with over half a million people enjoying the attractions and learning about Florida’s rich agricultural heritage.”
