    Cracker Country

    Step back in time at Tampa’s only living history museum, Cracker Country! Trips are scheduled year-round with specially designed curriculum for young learners, elementary school students and homeschooled students. Featuring 13 original 20th-century structures and knowledgable docents in historic dress, Cracker Country offers so much to learn about 1900s Florida.

    Ag-Venture

    Touch, taste and see Florida agriculture in this hands-on adventure! Designed for students in third grade, Ag-Venture features three different tours that will have a balance of plant and animal science. Students will visit stations with various hands-on activities to learn more about the impact that agriculture has in our every day lives.

    State Fair

    Self-guided school tours are available for first – fifth grade classes. General admission gates open at 11 a.m. Through this program, schools will be eligible for a Pre-Fair opportunity in Cracker Country at 10 a.m. on the day of the scheduled field trip.  Students can experience educational displays like the Power of Steam exhibit or get up close and personal with cattle, chickens, and rabbits. In Florida’s Largest Classroom, every exhibit and attraction is a chance to learn more!
