Tampa, Florida (January 27, 2021)- The Florida State Fair announces new dates for its annual Florida State Fair event. Originally scheduled for February 11-22, 2021, the Florida State Fair will welcome guests as the tradition continues April 22 – May 2, 2021. Additional details surrounding the 2021 Fair and its full health and safety guidelines will be shared in the coming weeks.
Tampa’s favorite long-time tradition is mostly an outdoor event and offers hundreds of acres that will allow guests to social distance. Adhering to CDC and the Florida Department of Health recommendations, the Florida State Fair will also provide sanitation stations inside the event, require masks and rework its indoor floor plans in effort to allow more distancing.
“The Florida State Fair is truly a community event that our guests look forward to each and every year,” said Cheryl Flood, Executive Director of the Florida State Fair. “Like other fairs and venues across the country that have safely reopened, we are utilizing best practices and safety guidelines that have proven to be successful. With a solid safety plan in place, we remain confident in providing a safe family entertainment experience.”
The Florida State Fairgrounds will continue to enhance its health and safety measures by staying in regular contact with authorities and respond to any recommendations issued by the CDC, the Florida Department of Health and the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services.
Guests who pre-purchased fair tickets on the Florida State Fair’s website will be given the option to transfer tickets for the rescheduled dates. Tickets will be on sale beginning Monday, February 1, 2021 on the Florida State Fair website. For a detailed schedule of upcoming events, please visit floridastatefair.com.
