The Bob Thomas Equestrian Center at the Florida State Fairgrounds was built by horsemen, for horsemen. The grounds feature five rings including the exercise and warm-up ring, The Louise Serio Ring, Gene Mische Ring, Grand Prix Ring and Premium Covered Arena. Also included in the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center are the recently updated barns, newly renovated restrooms and spacious indoor Pavilion. No event is too large in this 23-acre horse paradise.
The Equestrian Center is the right full-service stop for your next horse show or event. Guests and spectators can enjoy seating in shaded bleachers or on grassy hills, while service-oriented staff help support any logistical needs.
With different horse shows and events happening almost every weekend of the year, there is almost always something to enjoy at the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center.
The Florida State Fairgrounds will open the Bob Thomas Equestrian Center on a first come first serve basis for those that are in the direct path of Hurricane Milton. The online reservation form link is on our website under Equestrian and is available on a first come first serve basis for those in flood zones.
