JOIN US, FEBRUARY 6-17, 2025
After 6:00 PM Youth Policy
For all 12 days of the 2025 Florida State Fair, after 6:00 p.m. persons 17 years of age or younger must be accompanied by an admission-paying parent or guardian, 21 years of age or older with a valid ID, in order to join the fair fun!
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, rides and operations might be temporarily affected. We always do our best to keep the fun going, but please remember that all purchases are final—no refunds or rainchecks. We will continue to post the most updated information at Floridastatefair.com and all of our social media channels.

We want everyone to have a blast AND stay safe! Security will check all bags and packages and will screen for prohibited items using hand-held metal detectors. Prohibited items include: unlawful weapons or firearms as those terms are defined by Florida law, items that may be deemed unsafe or inappropriate (on a case-by-case basis), luggage, coolers, bags with wheels, and full-face masks. As safety is our top priority, we will have surveillance cameras operating daily, and officers from Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Department on-site.
We love a good ride, but for safety’s sake, skateboards, rollerblades, hoverboards, and tennis-shoe-style roller skates are a no-go at the Fair.
One of the best parts of the Fair is enjoying the delicious food! Outside food and drinks aren’t allowed, except for guests with special dietary needs, food allergies, baby food/formula, or individually wrapped snacks for kids.
We love pets, but they’re not allowed at the Fair (except for service animals). If you’re bringing a service animal, just be sure to keep them under control on a leash or harness while you enjoy all the Fair has to offer!
Guests are free to bring their own wheelchairs, scooters, and strollers! These items can also be rented at Scootaround tents located at Gates 1, 2, 3, and pricing is as follows:
Electric Scooters – $65
Wheelchairs – $25
Double Strollers – $17
Wagons – $17
Single Stroller – $11

Lost items are collected at the lost and found location right outside the Expo Hall center doors on the midway side. We’ll do our best to reunite you with your stuff, but remember that the Fair is not responsible for lost, missing, or stolen personal property.

Ride credits are as follows: 7 for $10, 25 for $30 and 50 for $50. Rides cost between 3-7 credits each – see here for a list of rides and their cost!
The ride armband includes almost our entire midway of 80+ rides, except for around 3 or 4 specialty attractions, such as the mechanical bull and bungee jump that require a separate payment.
Our midway is packed with over 90 rides, ranging from mild to wild! Many have minimum or maximum height requirements, so keep this in mind before purchasing an armband, as we do not offer refunds. Visit the Wade Shows Website to view the ride restrictions list.
Yes, there is! We will have bars and pop-up stands throughout the fairgrounds.
